    FHLTWIN.386 is a Virtual Device Driver (VxD) that provides
compatiblity between IBM's Personal Communications/400 or Client
Access/400 program products and the FHL-7151 twinax adapter board.
FHLTWIN.386 interfaces with the IBM enhanced-mode Windows VxD's
to permit the use of the FHL-7151 adapter without requiring the
presence of DOS TSR programs.

Prerequisites: 1. Windows 3.1 or 3.11 in enhanced mode.
                2. IBM Personal Communications/400 or Client Access/400
                    at the release/version/modification/PTF level that
                    supports the VxD interface (ask IBM). Currently,
                    the VxD support is absent in the IBM products,
                    but is available for CA/400 as PTF SF23559.

Installation: 1. Copy the file FHLTWIN.386 to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM
                    directory.
                2. Add the following text line to the [386Enh] section
                    of the SYSTEM.INI file (found in the \WINDOWS
                    directory):

                        DEVICE=FHLTWIN.386

                3. Add the following lines to the end of the SYSTEM.INI
                    file:

                        [FHLTWIN]
                        BaseIOAddress=xxx

                    where xxx is the FHL-7151 adapter I/O address (in
                    hex, as set by the switches on the FHL-7151 board).
                    See your FHL-7151 manual for switch setting info.

Removal: 1. Delete the three lines added to the SYSTEM.INI file.
                2. Delete the file, FHLTWIN.386, from the
                    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
